Privacy policy

This policy sets out what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights. It is written under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

What we collect

  • Information you send us voluntarily by email: name, email address, company, and anything else you choose to include in your message.
  • Site usage data, only if you have consented: pages viewed, referral source, device type.

No analytics cookie is placed before you consent. Declining is offered at the same level as accepting, and you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Why

To answer your enquiries, to prepare and deliver our services, and to measure site usage so we can improve the content. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

How long

Commercial exchanges that do not lead anywhere are kept for three years from the last contact. Records tied to an engagement are kept for the duration of the contract, then for as long as our accounting and tax obligations require. Usage data is kept for at most twenty-five months.

Your rights

You may request access to the information we hold about you, its correction or deletion, and its release in a structured, commonly used technological format. You may also withdraw your consent. We respond within thirty days.

Privacy officer

Requests go by email to bonjour@make-sense.ca, for the attention of the person in charge of the protection of personal information, or by post to 14, place du Commerce, Île-des-Sœurs, Verdun, Montréal (QC), Canada.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Confidentiality incidents

We keep a register of every confidentiality incident. Where there is a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned without delay.
